Nicholas Goodwin is Director and Founder of Tulodo. He has over 15 years’ experience working with government, business, university, nonprofit and United Nations organizations. Nick is passionate about people centered solutions and creative partnerships. He has managed and advised multi-million dollar programs and teams focused on health, sanitation, education, governance and energy issues throughout the Asia Pacific and Australia, as well as in Africa and the Americas. He is also Lecturer and Research Associate in the Department of Media and Communications at the University of Sydney, where he teaches social marketing. Nick has a PhD (University of Sydney) in social and behavior change communications, MBA (Deakin), Bachelor of Asian Studies (ANU), and he studied at Indonesia’s Universitas Gadjah Mada.
Irma Martam is Commissioner of Tulodo Indonesia and based in Jakarta, where she is Director of Beehives Consulting. She brings skills and experience in behavior change, qualitative research and psychology, with special interests in gender and violence. After graduating from the University of Indonesia, she worked as a qualitative market researcher with Nielsen. Irma also joined Yayasan Pulih, an Indonesian NGO delivering psychosocial interventions to prevent violence and support recovery from trauma. She then managed her own businesses before establishing Beehives. Irma completed a masters in social marketing at George Washington University, where she specialized in health communication and marketing.
Frika Chia Iskandar is Consultant for Tulodo, based in Jakarta. She is experienced in coordinating social campaigns, technical assistance for community organizations, workshop facilitation, organizational development, research, monitoring and evaluation and documentary film production. She has worked for over 15 years in HIV/AIDS, policy advocacy and women’s empowerment, from national level program management to regional and local programs across countries in the Asia Pacific region. Frika is comfortable in different types of organizations, having worked with nonprofits, community groups, United Nations agencies, private sector and government agencies. She is passionate about capacity building and peer education, and collaborating with people from different cultures and backgrounds to solve social problems. She believes that change starts with oneself. Frika has a Bachelor degree in International Relations from University of Padjajaran, Bandung. Prior relocating back to her beloved country, Indonesia, she lived in Singapore, Thailand and Brazil. Frika practices yoga to keep her grounded and she secretly believes that she was a mermaid in her past life.
Heribertus Rinto Wibowo is Project Officer for Tulodo. He has a background in health sciences and customer service, with a strength in quantitative data analysis. He is passionate about the science of health promotion, with research interests in tobacco control and nutrition. He participated in the AIESEC Global Passport Program in Vietnam and helped organize community projects in Perth through the John Curtin Weekend Program. Prior to Tulodo, he worked as a tutorial teacher at Sanata Dharma University and in customer service for Nutrifood. He completed a Master of Public Health at Curtin University, Western Australia and has a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy.
Monica Christy is Project Officer for Tulodo. She is passionate about entrepreneurship and behavior change in low-income communities. Prior to joining Tulodo, Monica traveled to Indonesia’s Nusa Tenggara and Papua, one island at a time, to promote women’s entrepreneurship and simple technologies in remote areas. Monica has a Bachelor’s in Communication and Media Management (UniSA) and just graduated with a Master of Science in Enterprise (University of Leeds) where she concentrated on new venture opportunities and entrepreneurship in low-income communities. She did her internship at the CSR and Sustainability Department at Leeds University Business School, managing CSR and sustainability events in the community. If she is not glued to her laptop, she enjoys taking photographs while learning the Korean language through film and music.
Ati Andayani is the Administration and Finance Manager for Tulodo. She has a background in finance and banking, including with major consumer and commercial firms in Indonesia and globally. Ati is passionate about numbers and making them work for social and behavior change. She received her masters degree with distinction in International Banking and Finance from the University of Salford, UK. Ati travels overseas to participate in international forums, training, workshops and volunteering. She is currently completing an advanced accounting qualification and maintains a keen interest in banking and finance research.
Ratnakanya N Hadyani is the Community Associate for Tulodo. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Gadjah Mada University. She has a passion for community service and recently served in Papua, where she taught art to indigenous kids. Kanya enjoys working towards social change, particularly in the area of conservation and climate change. Her specialization as a graphic designer/illustrator has enabled her to work on many aspects of nonprofit projects and campaigns. Kanya is also active working as an volunteer for some NGOs as an illustrator, as well as Ambassador for a youth organization. Together with an inspiring group of people, she works to promote the relevance of issues such as education through youth empowerment.
